Where the Sidewalk Ends
Head: Kate Armey
The Coburn Place Committee is working on collecting toiletries for victims of domestic abuse that seek shelter at Coburn Place. There, victims are provided with food, clothes, and a place to live. Many of the people living there are mothers with children and are often in need of financial aid. Community Connected

Podcast
Heads: Casey Alexander and Emerson Elledge
The Community Engagement Committee's aim is to better engage our school and our community regarding public service. We will be creating multiple volunteer opportunities every few months by working with different organizations and nonprofits within Fishers and the surrounding areas. Our main goal at the end of the year is to have a centralized volunteer network where places to volunteer are easily reachable. |
Fresh Food for Families
Head: Helen Myers
The Hygiene Drive was formed to collect dental hygiene supplies and feminine products for donation. By hosting this drive, we hope to spread the word about how privileged we (as Americans, as middle-class members, etc) are to be able to purchase these items, and to help others who cannot afford to purchase them. |
Banquet
Head: Mia Noel
The Banquet Committee researches, plans, and executes an annual banquet to award people within the community who complete community service without recognition. Each year, we give out up to twelve Jefferson Awards and celebrate our accomplishments throughout the year. |
