About Us
At Fishers High School, Students in Action is a student-led service club, where students can suggest and lead their own service projects to help areas in their community or across the globe they feel passionately about. Students join or create committees based on the problem or issue they wish to resolve, brainstorm ideas on how to best combat the issue, research, and execute these projects with the help of other Students in Action members or members of their community. A daughter organization of the national Multiplying Good nonprofit, Students in Action functions to unite students across the nation in their passion and appreciation for student-led service.
The Fishers High School Students in Action team is nationally acclaimed, having been awarded first place in the 2019 Jefferson Awards National Competition for Ambassador-Level Schools. In 2020, the Fishers High School Students in Action team received a Gold Banner in Indiana, and our highlighted project of the year, Community Connected, won the Best Local Cause award.

OUR mission statement:to provide a platform for students to change and impact aspects of their community. |
We encourage our members to make sustainable change via projects, connections, and equity-based efforts, rather than focusing on temporary relief to community needs. |
Exploring Multiplying Good's Goals
investigateInvestigation focuses on the preliminary stages of planning, where you find your passions, research the needs of your community, and study projects similar to your cause that have been carried out in the past. |
preparePreparation works to ready your committee for the beginning, middle, and end of your service project by providing a time and place for you to work together in scheduling, organizing, and goal-setting for your project. |
executeExecution means not only the individual execution of a single service project, but also the completion and fulfillment of any and all club-wide or committee-wide goals set in the Prepare stage. |
reflectReflection works to enhance your understanding of your achievements, and provides a opportunity to track impact, report successes and failures, and untangle emotions surrounding each project. |
shareSharing allows you and your committee to publicize your actions and successes in any sort of way, from writing a blog post, telling a series of stories, speaking on the podcast, or even talking to local media. |
celebrateCelebration focuses on rewarding the success of all members and inspiring further action, as well as collaborating with the Jefferson Awards and Multiplying Good on recognizing community members. |
